The EPSON C3-IP67 compact 6-Axis robot was designed for automation of unwrapped food lines as well as use in Medical environments where washdown capabilities are requried. Special material is used to seal components to enable long life and chemical-resistant performance. They are built to withstand exposure to chemical solutions and detergents from mild-acid to mild-alkaline.

With a smooth surface design, C3-IP67 robots are easy to clean. The smooth surface prevents/reduces foreign substances from attaching to the arm.  Safe coating material, approved by the FDA for contact with food and which is also used for kitchen utensils, is used for exterior parts. For oil seal lubrication, food-grade grease (NSF H1 Grade) is used. Also, wrist axis material is stainless, which reduces the risk of contamination by foreign substances.

As the leader in compact 6-Axis robots, ALL C3 robots include a unique compact wrist pitch as well as a slim body elbow design. With outstanding flexibility, EPSON C3 and C3-IP67 robots were made for big jobs in tiny spaces. Our goal was to build a robust robot in a compact shell capable of meeting EPSON's high performance standards. The new EPSON C3-IP67 did all that and more.

The EPSON C3-IP67 cycle times are down to 0.37 seconds which is faster than many competitors SCARA models. Cycle times can be critical in food handling applications so we made the C3-IP67 so that all 6 joints are on average 32.4% faster than equivalent competitor models in its' class. The C3-IP67's footprint to motion range ratio is in a class by itself and the outstanding flexibility allows EPSON robots to do jobs that other small 6 axis arms simply cannot do (or that take much more cycle time tocomplete)
